November 18, 2011(Halifax, NS) – A benefit concert featuring many of Nova Scotia’s emerging women musicians is taking place as part of the International GoGirls Music Fest on November 18th at The Company House. The concert, presented by Harmony Bazaar Festival of Women and Song will feature the talents of Tiffani Latham, Connie Sauliner, Mel Farrimond, Breagh Potter, Amy Lee Blanchard, Christine Campbell, Kate Surette, Rosie Folks, and Perpetual Detour. Those fortunate enough to get tickets for the show – only $15.00 and available at The Company House – will also receive a FREE GoGirls Music Fest CD.
The Red Thread Movement is a student initiative that unites voices against the human rights violation of sex trafficking to combat sexual slavery in Nepal. GoGirls is a unique organization that focuses on advancing the careers of independent female artists. The GoGirls Music Fest promotes independent women in music. “This partnership with GoGirls Music Fest, The Company House, and Harmony Bazaar is so important in making this benefit concert possible.
